...Fourth of July...

The Fourth of July was so much fun this year!!! Me, Wesley, Mac, Brooklyn and Jilly went to the carnival/fair in Provo and pretty much almost died of heat but it was still fun! Then we went to the Provo Towne Centre to do some shopping! Mackenzie tried to break my foot with this glass thing and then made Brooklyn cry!!! That Klutz!!! :) After that we went home and Me and MacKenzie played in the hose and did the limbo with it, it was way fun! (other than the creepy neighbor across the street that sat outside and watched the ENTIRE time... pyscho...) When it got dark Me and Wesley went to watch the fireworks and they were AWESOME! Anywho it was a BLAST!!!

Wesley, Me, my sister Jenn, Brooklyn, and Dylan went to DI to try to find some furniture to refinish, we came across this shelf full of huge glasses! We got a kick out of putting them on Brooklyn and Dylan. So much fun!!!

As you may know if you see us often, our once little girl, is not quite so little anymore! As a mother it saddens me to think that my baby is growing up! (she is 9 1/2 months) Brooklyn is crawling all over the place, she has mastered the bear crawl on the grass. She is pulling herself up to the couch and even now standing on her own without holding onto anything! She is really growing up to be a smart girl! We love her very much and are very lucky to have such a great baby!

I am so excited my sister Jordann is havin a baby!!! she found out just a few weeks ago that she is having a little girl, they are going to name her Kamdyn ( i think that is how she is going to spell it). she is due on September 11, and i just cannot wait! there is nothing more exciting to me than having a precious baby coming into the world! what a blessing!

Car Show

This is from a while back but Me, Wesley and Brooklyn went to the Car Show at the Expo center. There were tonz of awesome cars! My favorite car is the Denali. I absolutely love it! Wesley loved all the trucks... surprise surprise. It was alot of fun, after the car show we went to my moms house for steaks and potatoes! it was a great day!

It was sunday afternoon and Doug and Erin came over to visit. We were outside chatting when Jill mentioned that she had some rhubarb to make pies. So jill cut the stalks off and they were cutting them up on the table. We decided to let Brooklyn have a little taste and she loved it! She sat there for at least an hour just sucking on a stalk of rhubarb. It was pretty cute! Later that day we tried to give her a little bit of icing and she was not a fan! I guess shes doesnt have much of a sweet tooth!!

Ridin the Mower wth Daddy!!!

Wesley bought a riding lawn mower recently and Brooklyn is totally amazed by it. Everytime Wes revs the engine she goes crazy. Sometimes Wes will let her sit on his lap while he mows the lawn and when it is time to be done, she gets upset. It is the funniest thing!

On August 26, 2007 a miracle happened, my family was blessed with the most beautiful little girl a mother could ask for! Her name is Brooklyn Kay Carlson. She was 7lbs 7oz and 18 inches long at birth. She was born at 8:02 P.M. That morning I woke up at 6:00 A.M. and was in labor! We went to the hospital at 8:00 A.M. and I got my epidural at 12:30 that afternoon. We waited anxiously during 13 hours of labor for Brooklyn to come. They finally decided to give me a c-section after two hours of pushing, and then she was out about five minutes after that. :) I am very grateful that I was blessed with a healthy happy baby. I couldn't ask for much more...

Wesley and I started "officially" dating January 6, 2005. We had the same Earth Systems class and flirted shamelessly, I was always looking forward to that class and made sure that I looked extra cute. :) I have always been crazy about Wes, I specifically remember his smile being one of the things that I loved most about him. Wes is a great dad and and even better husband! I am blessed to have him and I love him more than anything in this world!
